Description

ApathyWorks is me, Alex "AlejandroDaJ" Jordan, a 31 year old who lives in Washington, DC and works for the U.S. Department of Labor. I started programming and doing level design in elementary school, graduated to modding, and eventually hit the ground running with indie game design with XNA in early 2009. I've since graduated to Steam and mobile development with Cute Things Dying Violently.

History

Background

Mild-mannered government employee by day and mild-mannered government employee by night as well, Alex "AlejandroDaJ" Jordan left Rhode Island at the tender age of it's time to get the hell out of Rhode Island to live and work in the nation's capital. It turns out that that dream was a pretty sucky one, so now I make video games.

Indie Game Street Cred or some Credible Facsimile Thereof

Hmm. Let's see, I used to mod for Half-Life and cut my teeth as a mapper on the Firearms team. I modded with Half-Life 2 for a bit before deciding to take a break, and when I woke up from my game design hibernation, I decided that it was time to start working in XNA. I released a couple of titles on Xbox Live Indie Games and have since graduated to Steam and mobile development.
